Papers☂10:58 PM
I was never waterproof against my own tears,
I'm crashing through the white layers of my little white lies.
I can't hold onto our paper thin left overs anymore.
My shaking hands barely hold onto the pen that spells out those words.
I try and try again to fix the spreading mixture of emotions
What a mess, this is not art.
Reuse me over and over again
Don't let me just rip apart.
Don't throw me away just yet.
No matter the distance, I'll travel for you
Just let me be that love letter that you hold onto.
